The supplier for DCP Batches 24,26,27,28 has just informed our Region that the deliveries of the computers in our region are moved to January because they have been delayed in Region 3 deliveries by typhoon Lando. Further instructions will be announced here later.

Seminar on "Theory to Practice: Teaching and Assessing Grade 11 and 12 English Subjects Regional Seminar". It will be held on February 12-13, 2015, Y407 Seminar Rm in DLSU Manila.

The Participants are English teachers from basic education who want to level up their career, English teachers from universities and colleges who want to shift to SHS teaching, language center owners, teacher trainors, principals, English coordinators, and teacher training institutions.

Aims: In this seminar/workshop, the participants will be able to: 1. explain the approach DepEd used in designing the Senior High School English curriculum. 2. connect college English subjects and Senior High School English. 3. design assessment tasks for Grade 11 and 12 English subjects: Oral communication, reading and writing in context, English for academic professional purposes. 4. bring home tons of tricks, tips, and strategies in teaching Senior High School English subjects. 5. become assessment literate. 6. integrate mobile technology in their classroom.

K-12 SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL APPLICATION


Submission of Documentary Requirements for Senior High School (SHS) Teaching Positions/ Call for Expressions of Intent for Senior High School Teaching Positions for School Year (SY) 2016-2017

DCP Updates as of November 25, 2015:

The supplier for DCP Batches 24,26,27,28 has just informed our Region that the deliveries of the computers in our region are moved to January because they have been delayed in Region 3 deliveries by typhoon Lando. Further instructions will be announced here later.

TRAINING SCHEDULES of Batches 24, 26, 27 are not yet sent by the supplier though it has been assured to come as soon as possible. The total of the three (3) batches is 140 schools (elem and sec). The supplier requested clustering of schools by 14 with 3 participants per school making maximum of 42 participant per cluster. Overall total of expected participants for the 10 clusters is 420. Training for elementary schools is 2 days. Training for secondary schools (Batch 27) is 6 hours during the first day.


The supplier will provide training materials and meals only. Participants will handle transportation expenses and their accommodations should they wish to stay within the venue. The school to volunteer for the venue will just prepare a free venue and free accommodation for the trainors.

DEPED OFFICIAL EMAIL FOR ALL PERMANENT

Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 227, s. 2012 on the Guidelines on the Use of DepEd Email Service, the Regional and Division Information Technology Officers (ITO's) are designated to administer DepEd email accounts, through verification and approval of requests for the issuance of new accounts and password reset of existing accounts in their respective areas of responsibilities, effective September 28,2015. SDO ITO's shall administer email of all permanent employees in the Schools Division Office and in the schools (teaching and non-teaching). Deadlines for the administration of email accounts are: October 23, 2015 for SDO employees; November 20, 2015 for Secondary School Heads and designated ICT Coordinators; December 18, 2015 for Elementary School Heads and ICT Coordinators; February 26, 2016 for all teachers and other non-teaching personnel in the schools.
